Gravity Falls Fans, Get Ready to be Envious!!!

I LOVE Gravity Falls! It has been my favourite show since late 2014, when I finally was able to watch it for the first time. I’ve always been a fan of conspiracy theories and the thought that goes into it, and one of my favourite video series on YouTube was cartoon conspiracy. So, when I ran out of original theories for shows I’d already seen, I thought, “You know what show is supposed to be full of theories and mysteries? Gravity Falls!” So I recorded it on my grandmother’s TV and managed to actually watch the episodes in order.

I fell down the rabbit hole of oddities, authors, mysteries, and the Pines family. And I never crawled out again. To this day I can’t get over this show. Nothing will ever top it. Steven Universe tried and failed to take its place as my fav ever.

So, why should you be envious?

Well, my sister is well aware of my obsession. She loves the show too, but she knows how much I absolutely adore it! So, when she ordered Journal 3, she let me read it.

BUT THEN! Last Christmas, I opened a present from her and Mimi and it contained my own copy of Journal 3 and a note telling me to look forward to this summer. And today, it arrived. My own copy of the exclusive, limited-edition, Journal 3!

It is signed by Alex Hirsch, contains invisibleink, and! it comes with a magnifying glass!

The Things I Do for Fandoms

Aloha humans! Today I got the three month free trial to YoutubeRed! For the sole purpose of watching TATINOF (hats off to anyone who knows what that is). I’ve noticed that people often go to great lengths for their fandoms, from subscribing to a paid Youtube service for one video, to spending large volumes of money to dress as characters and go to conventions.

Here are things I have done for the fandoms I love so much.

1. had my mother knit me an accurate Mabel sweater (shooting star specifically)
2. Planned an entire Sock cosplay (WtH)
3. Purchased merch from several Youtubers including JSE, Markiplier, and Dan and Phil
4. Went to Comic Con in a human Vriska cosplay (got a 3D printed figurine of my self in cosplay)
5. Tried twice to get the signatures of Fred and George Weasley only to get turned away both times
6. Stayed up all night to watch Fairy Tail, Ouran High School Host Club, and Phineas and Ferb (one of these things is not like the others), and attempted to do so for Miraculous Ladybug and Voltron Legendary Defender, only to be stopped by Lizzy
7. and today’s Youtube Red trial
